Solution to the problems of the jewellery traders across the country requires unity among themselves.

BAJUS general secretary Dilip Kumar Agarwala made the statement addressing as the chief guest at a view exchange meeting with Chandpur unit leaders and stakeholders in a district venue on Friday.

“There are many pros and cons in the jewellery sector. Unity is needed to resolve crises in the sector. If we are united, all problems will disappear. You have to swear today to abide by all decisions of BAJUS,” he said.

Hailing initiatives of BAJUS President Sayem Sobhan Anvir, he said the organisation under new presidency is really performing well with steps directed towards pushing the platform to a new height.

Chandpur unit president Rotarian Md Mostofa presided over the meeting while general secretary Manik Poddar moderated it.

BAJUS adviser and business editor of the daily Bangladesh Pratidin Ruhul Amin Rasel, its assistant secretary and Standing Committee on Law and Membership vice president Masudur Rahman and executive member Md Imran Chowdhury spoke on the occasion.
