Bashundhara Group Managing Director and Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) President Sayem Sobhan Anvir asked the gold traders to construct jewellery industries across the country.

“You (gold traders) establish jewellery industries individually or jointly and export ornaments meeting local demands,” he said.

 He was addressing Dhaka divisional representatives’ meeting 2022 at Bashundhara City Shopping Complex in the capital on Tuesday.

Dr Dilip Kumar Roy, former president of Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) and chairman of Standing Committee on District Monitoring, presided over the programme. 

Former BAJUS president MA Wadud Khan, its adviser and Bangladesh Pratidin business editor Ruhul Amin Russel, among others, were present.
