Customs officials arrested a man along with 34 gold bars at Shah Amanat International Airport in Chattogram on Wednesday morning.
The identity of the arrestee could not be known yet.
He arrived at the airport from Dubai by a flight of Air Arabia at 7:30am.
Wing Commander Md Farhad Hossain Khan, director of the airport, confirmed the news.
